"Beyond The Surface"
24th-26th April 2026
1) Artist Name: “Anastasiia Andreeva”

My journey as a ceramic artist began four years ago after I relocated from Russia to Cyprus. What started as an exploration quickly became an essential way for me to connect with the world. Through my work, I explore the relationship between humans and nature, seeking to express a sense of unity, stillness, and presence. I use form, texture, and color to convey emotional states where love, vulnerability, and strength coexist. I am deeply drawn to natural textures and organic surfaces cracks, layers, and traces of time. I treat clay as a living material, allowing it to reveal its own logic and character.
My pieces are not only objects but embodied experiences. They represent a dialogue between control and spontaneity, between inner states and their physical expression.
"Emergence (Holding Life)"
Artist Name: Anastasiia Andreeva
Title: Emergence (Holding Life)
Medium: Stoneware, hand-built, textured surface, pigment
Size: H 165 mm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €230
Nationality: Russian
Description: This series explores the relationship between form and life. Each piece functions as a vessel, not only containing, but supporting, revealing, or interacting with a living element. The works investigate how structure can hold fragility, and how life emerges, grows, and is sustained within material boundaries. Emergence.
This piece captures a moment of emergence a fragile form pushing through a rigid structure. The geometric body acts as a container, while the organic element breaks through its surface, creating a tension between control and life. The contrast between solidity and vulnerability reflects the delicate process of growth where something alive appears within a confined and resistant environment.

"Root System"
Artist Name: Anastasiia Andreeva
Title: Root System
Medium: Stoneware, hand-built, glazed
Size: H 120 mm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €130
Country: Russian
Description: This work explores the idea of support and interconnectedness. The structure rises from the base like a network of roots, holding and elevating a living element.
The vessel becomes not only a container but a system of relationships, where stability is created through complexity and connection. It reflects the invisible structures that sustain life.

Root System
"Flow"
Artist Name: Anastasiia Andreeva
Title: Flow
Medium: Stoneware, hand-built, textured surface, mixed media (glass tube)
Size: H 170 mm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €140
Country: Russian
Description: This piece explores continuity and flow. The form unfolds as a continuous movement, creating a rhythm between stability and motion. Integrated glass elements introduce a vertical axis, allowing a living element to interact with the structure. The work reflects balance between control and fluidity, where form becomes a path rather than a fixed object.

"Palimpsest I"
Artist Name: Anastasiia Andreeva
Title: Palimpsest I
Medium: Stoneware, layered clay, iron oxide, textured surface
Size: H 275 mm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €690
Country: Russian
Description: The title “Palimpsest” reflects the idea of continuous rewriting and transformation. This piece explores the idea of layered memory and traces of time. Like a palimpsest, the surface holds remnants of previous states, partially erased yet still visible through texture and light.
The form was created intuitively through layering clay and working with raw textures, allowing the material to reveal its own movement. Iron oxide enhances depth and emphasizes the relief, bringing hidden structures to the surface. For me, this work is a dialogue between control and spontaneity, between what is erased and what remains.

Palimpsest I
"Palimpsest II"
Artist Name: Anastasiia Andreeva
Title: Palimpsest II
Medium: Stoneware, layered clay, iron oxide, textured surface
Size: H 250 mm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €640
Country: Russian
Description: This piece continues the exploration of layered memory and traces of time within the “Palimpsest” series. Unlike the first form, the focus here shifts inward towards wholeness and internal tension. Layers of clay build a complex surface where patterns and textures partially obscure one another, evoking accumulated experience and hidden narratives.
The absence of external elements enhances the sense of containment, making the form more quiet and introspective. Iron oxide reveals the depth of the relief and emphasizes transitions between layers, allowing light to move across the surface and activate its complexity. This work speaks about inner memory about what remains beneath the surface, even without visible expression.

Palimpsest II
"Fault Line"
Artist Name: Anastasiia Andreeva
Title: Fault Line
Medium: Stoneware, layered clay, iron oxide, dry pigments, textured surface
Size: H 220 mm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €520
Country: Russian
Description: This piece explores a moment of internal tension pushed to its limit. Layers of clay, like geological strata, accumulate pressure until the form begins to rupture and open. The surface was shaped through direct physical interaction with the material thick slabs of clay were repeatedly dropped and compressed against a wooden surface. The upper layer remained untouched, allowing natural cracks and fractures to emerge, later emphasized with dry pigments.
The break at the top becomes not only a physical event but a symbolic gesture a point where what was hidden emerges to the surface. This work speaks about the boundary between containment and collapse the moment when a form can no longer remain stable and is forced to transform.

3) Artist Name: Gabriel Dandan
Gabriel Dandan, a self-taught artist who was exposed to diversity of many cultures, spent his childhood in South America, followed by his teen years in Beirut, Lebanon. Due to the unrest in the country, he immigrated to the United States, where he spent a long period of his life. However, with his eventual return to the Middle East, once again he devoted his time to painting. He visited Cyprus frequently, where he held several exhibitions in Paphos from 2007 – as a solo artist, with the Open Studio and with other artists. The diverse culture he experienced during his travels, inspired and enriched his imagination, which is reflected in the wide variety of scenes. Gabriel started his artistic career working on a variety of surfaces with oils, the change to acrylics on his return to the Middle East. Later on in 2010, due to injury, once again he changed his medium and started painting with pastel, water, oil pencils and ink, which he was able to do sitting down with magnificent results. As he once said: I find the infinity subtlety of colours fascinating, whether in city markets, during seasonal changing in the countryside, in the mood of the sea or the character of harbours and boats. It is a constant challenge to capture this in my paintings.
Regrettably, Gabriel passed away in 2016 after a long battle with Cancer.

I’ve been in art since early childhood, surrounded by art books, albums, exhibitions, museums, family friends artists, drawing myself, although beyond any systematic education. Already an adult, I’ve taken some formal academic education in art. For the last 17 years I’ve been drawing and painting watercolors and oils, having started with realism and shifting to symbolism, suprematism and abstract art.
I’ve been to solo and group exhibitions in Cyprus, Italy, France, Russia. Recently, I’ve taken up clay sculpture which I see as an excellent means to expand my visual expression. Art is my language to talk to the world as I feel inspired by ancient civilizations, history, nature, various cultures and diverse art of the world.

Description: Every time I reflect on past civilizations, lost cultures and perished empires, I recall prophets, messengers of G-d, gifted with divine insights. The Prophet on my painting is facing left - the past and present - to stress that prophets are not magicians or soothsayers, but rather living consciousness of people to guide and warn them, and to remember that for prophets future is past, already accomplished in G-d’s plans.

I am Serbian born artist living in Cyprus. My interest in art started from very early age. I trained with several renowned Serbian artists in classic painting, drawing and stained glass, but found my true passion in abstract painting. I am a qualified nurse, but in 2008 decided to give it up, so I can pursue my art career. I enjoy discovering new techniques and ways to express myself.
My work is expressive, dynamic and and colorful, and is representing my thoughts and feelings during the painting and is greatly affected by the music I choose to listen in that process. Art for me is a way of life, it's never ending source of power that keeps me going... I worked with numerus interior designers and sold my work worldwide.

Artist Name: Marija Constantinou
Title: Expectations 1 & 2
Medium: Acrylic and mixed media on cardboard
Size: 42x32 cm framed
Year Created: 2025
Price: €290 Each or €460 for both
Nationality: Serbian/Cypriot
Description: Expectations 1 & 2 are a pair of small mixed media works that explore tension between anticipation and reality. Using predominantly blue and red, the paintings reflect an emotional push and pull blue suggesting distance, reflection, and uncertainty, while red introduces urgency, pressure, and desire. Though similar in palette, each piece shifts subtly in balance and movement, echoing how expectations are never fixed but constantly evolving.
Layered marks and textures hint at what is built up internally assumptions, projections, and imagined outcomes often contrasted by what is left unresolved. Together, the works invite a quiet contemplation of how we construct expectations, and how those constructions shape our emotional responses.

"Sea ballad"
Artist Name: Maiya Petra
Title: Sea ballad
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Size: 40×50 cm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €990
Nationality: Ukraine
Description: This work captures a quiet fishing boat resting in the bay of Zygi village. The scene reflects a moment of stillness, where everyday life meets the calm rhythm of the sea.
I was drawn to the simplicity of the boat, its worn textures, and the atmosphere of a place shaped by routine and tradition. Through light and composition, I wanted to preserve the feeling of warmth, salt air, and time moving slowly along the Cypriot coast.

Medium: Oil on Canvas
Size: 40×50 cm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €990
Nationality: Ukraine
Description: This piece was inspired by Limassol Marina ,a place I return to often. There is a particular boat that seems to always be there, becoming part of the rhythm of the space.
For me, it feels like a fixed point within movement, surrounded by changing light, reflections, and passing moments. I was interested in capturing this quiet familiarity, where the sea, the marina, and the boat create a sense of stability and personal connection.

"Morning dream"
Artist Name: Maiya Petra
Title: Morning dream
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Size: 40×50 cm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €990
Nationality: Ukraine
Description: This work was inspired by an early morning moment at Paphos Harbour. I saw this boat just as the day was beginning in soft, diffused light, when everything feels quiet and suspended in time. The still water, gentle reflections, and pale sky created a sense of calm and introspection. I wanted to capture that fragile transition between night and day, where the boat appears almost like a silhouette of thought present, yet drifting between reality and atmosphere.

I am a self-taught mixed media artist based in Paphos, Cyprus, originally from Germany. I began painting in my early twenties as a way to express what words could not hold. Over time, this developed from a private need into a central part of my work. Alongside painting, I have worked for more than 20 years in live event lighting.
This background continues to influence how I approach color, contrast, and the interaction between light and surface. I work intuitively, without sketches or predefined compositions. My paintings are built in layers using acrylic, structural paste, and spray paint. The surface develops through application, removal, and reworking. Material breaks open, layers remain visible, and relief structures form. Texture is not an addition but the core of the work.
It defines depth, resistance, and presence. What remains visible is the result of a process rather than a planned image. My work has been exhibited internationally, including in Miami, New York, Rome, Berlin, Lisbon, Limassol, and Paphos.
" Diffuse Glow"
Artist Name: Marleen Lorek
Title: Diffuse Glow
Medium: Acrylic, structural paste, spray paint on canvas
Size: 40×40×4 cm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €550
Nationality: German
Description: Diffuse Glow developed without a fixed plan, during a quiet search for clarity.
The surface is built through repeated layering and reworking.
A fractured central field exposes underlying color, while edges remain visible and fine cracks run through the material. The lower area carries more weight and density. Above, the surface opens into softer transitions of warm tones. The painting does not resolve the state it emerged from it holds it.

Artist Name: Marleen Lorek
Title: Offelia, A State Between Shift and Fading
Medium: Acrylic, structural paste, spray paint on canvas
Size: 50×70×4 cm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €790
Nationality: German
Description: This piece began at the same time as the other two works, but did not come together immediately. It required distance stepping away and returning to it later. The surface reflects that slower process. A dense horizontal band of material runs across the center. The paste is heavily applied and breaks open, revealing layered color beneath. Edges remain sharp, fragments lift from the surface.
Above and below, the composition becomes lighter. Spray paint and thin acrylic layers create a more diffused field. Unlike the other works, this one does not push outward. It settles into a quieter balance somewhere between presence and fading.

Medium: Pencil on paper
Size: 50×35 cm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €175
Nationality: Russian
Description: Sirena is a fictional girl I created in pencil, shaped more by feeling than reality. She exists somewhere between imagination and emotion not tied to a specific place or time.
Through soft lines and subtle details, I tried to capture a sense of quiet mystery and inner depth. She is not just a portrait, but a reflection of a mood delicate, distant, and slightly untouchable.

Title: Fighter
Medium: Ink, pencil on paper
Size: 50×35 cm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €175
Nationality: Russian
Description: In this work, I draw a parallel between the ancient warrior and the inner battles we face today. The figure is not only a character from the past, but a reflection of a timeless state the moment of tension before a clash, where control, discipline, and instinct meet.
I am interested in the idea that struggle has not disappeared, it has only changed its form. What once was a physical confrontation is now often internal.

"Diva"
Artist Name: Fedor Saphronov
Title: Diva
Medium: Ink, pencil on paper
Size: 42×30 cm
Year Created: 2025
Price: €175
Nationality: Russian
Description: Diva is a fictional girl I created in pencil a balance between elegance and intellect. Her gaze is calm yet captivating, drawing the viewer in with a sense of quiet confidence and depth. The intricate elements woven into her hair hint at a mind filled with technical ideas and complex thoughts, as if mechanisms and imagination coexist within her. She is not only beautiful, but aware observing, analyzing, understanding.
Through soft shading and precise lines, I wanted to express a character who sees beyond the surface, whose presence feels both delicate and powerful a modern muse shaped by intelligence as much as by mystery.

9) Artist Name: Olga Kotlamina

I came to painting through a personal need to express what I could not fully articulate in words. It began as an intuitive process and gradually became a consistent practice. Working with oil on canvas, I create inner landscapes shaped by light, memory, and subtle emotional states. I am interested in moments where form is both emerging and dissolving, where presence feels fragile yet persistent. My work often develops in series, reflecting an ongoing exploration of stillness and transformation. Through painting, I aim to create quiet spaces where the viewer can pause and connect with something within themselves.

I’m Croatian born artist. Following a gypsy like life of travel and creativity I finally settled in Cyprus. The light and colours of the island suit my artistic direction and creativity.
It is, therefore, no surprise that my paintings are largely very bright and colourful even though the subjects I chose often depict darker moments in our present situation. I use predominantly acrylic but like to experiment with multimedia which often produce surprising results- something that I find most exciting.

11) Artist Name: Kim Gush
Kim Gush is a Zimbabwean-born artist based in Cyprus, working in oil on canvas. For more than forty years, Zimbabwe was home its vast skies, unhurried rhythms, and the deep familiarity of a landscape shared with extraordinary wildlife. One does not spend four decades in such a place without it shaping the way one sees. Without learning that stillness is not the absence of something, but the presence of everything. That understanding is what her canvases hold.
Working with layered tone and carefully weighted light, Kim does not seek to document her subjects; she seeks to inhabit the moment just before and just after the one a photograph might capture the pause, the lean, the knowing, the quiet authority of a creature that has outlived almost everything around it. Her work is unhurried, atmospheric, and rooted in a genuine knowledge of her subject.
Kim began painting three years ago under the mentorship of Jo Renwick, and this exhibition her first is offered in tribute to the teacher who made it possible.
"Footsteps Remembered"
Artist Name: Kim Gush
Title: Footsteps Remembered
Medium: Oils on Canvas
Size: 90x60 cm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €520
Nationality: Zimbabwean
Description: There is something both commanding and melancholic about a lone bull elephant moving across an open plain. In Footsteps Remembered, a great tusker walks directly toward the viewer unhurried, certain, carrying the weight of decades in every step. Elephants are among nature’s most remarkable memory-keepers, navigating vast landscapes by routes held in collective and individual memory across generations. This painting seeks to honour that the sense of a life fully lived, of ancient paths walked and re-walked, of a creature that carries its history with it.
The stormy sky and swirling dust place him at a threshold between stillness and movement, past and present. His gaze meets ours without flinching. Painted in oils, the contrast between the warm golden earth and the turbulent blue sky was central to the composition a tension between the grounded and the elemental that mirrors the elephant’s own quiet power.

Footsteps Remembered
Artist Name: Kim Gush
Title: Close Counsel
Medium: Oils on Canvas
Size: 60x50 cm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €400
Nationality: Zimbabwean
Description: This painting explores the profound bonds that exist within elephant society a world governed by memory, matriarchy, and deep emotional intelligence. In Close Counsel, two elephants meet in a moment of intimate connection, their trunks entwined and tusks almost touching in what feels less like chance encounter and more like deliberate communion.
Elephants communicate in ways that go far beyond the visible through touch, vibration, and a collective wisdom passed down through generations.
This piece attempts to capture that exchange: the quiet power of two ancient beings, heads together in the dust, sharing something wordless and profound. Painted in oils, the warm earth tones and enveloping composition are intended to draw the viewer into the scene rather than observe it from a distance to feel the weight, the warmth, and the significance of the moment.

12) Artist Name: Jamie Jones
Jamie Jones is a contemporary painter exploring confidence, identity, and constructed roles. Working in oils, he blends classical techniques with contemporary cultural references, depicting children using costume and imagination as a form of self-belief, confidence and escapism. His work reflects how these behaviours carry into adulthood. His ongoing series Playtime Mafia debuted internationally at Art Miami 2025 with Vertical Gallery.
Artist Name: Jamie Jones
Title: The Vigilante
Medium: Oils on Canvas
Size: 60x80 cm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €4000
Nationality: British
Description: “The Vigilante” explores the idea that what we wear can shape how we feel and move through the world. A costume becomes armour. It creates confidence, presence, and belief, something seen most clearly in a child. A five-year-old dressed as Batman does not question it. They embody it. The figure wears a version of Batman layered with Japanese influence, referencing the character’s roots in samurai discipline and code.
The Kanji: 正 meaning justice and 守 meaning protection sit on the surface as symbols of strength and purpose. Beneath these layers is something far simpler, a child using imagination to feel confident and powerful, something that can become lost as we experience life as an adult. The work contrasts these outer symbols with the internal shift they create, pointing to a simple truth. Confidence is often constructed. It is something we step into, not something we are simply born with.

I am a Visual Artist, currently working with ceramics, collage & printmaking. I create hand built sculptural ceramics inspired by the landscape, flora and fauna of the Akamas. I work with ideas caught on camera and from memory, making notes of thoughts, concepts and impressions in sketch books. I use variety of different clay bodies but prefer to make my own hand made paper clay combined with recycled stoneware. The paper clay is lighter, has strength and allows for me to change my mind - I can add or detract details as the piece develops. The 'decomposition of the Akamas' are the thoughtlines fuelling my current work Weathered by wind, water and extreme heat, the sculptural vessels I make are a visceral response to my experiences of the Akamas environment. The shapes, colours, textures are taken from the landscape and combined to create works which communicate movement and the elemental processes that they have been subjected to.

Memories from Africa.
Drawing and painting have always been a part of my life. My dream was to be a sculptor but life took me on a different journey. My love for animals comes from growing up in South Africa. The sounds, the sunsets and the silence. I am self taught but have always joined art groups wherever I lived in the world. I work with oil paints and paint portraits, animals, seascapes, nature and abstracts.
Many of my animal paintings were donated to Earth Organization and to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Foundation that does amazing things for conservation in South Africa and Kenya.
My paintings have found homes in Canada, America, the UK, Europe, Africa and Australia.

Size: 90x70 cm
Year Created: 2026
Price: €7800
Nationality: Iranian
Description: This painting was created while my country was and still is under attack. With no internet and no way to contact my family in Iran, I lived through weeks of silence and worry. In that uncertainty, I turned inward, and this work became my refuge.
Created with the technique I developed after losing 50 paintings in a fire in South Africa in 2017, this piece is about finding calm within chaos. The quiet sea reminds us to pause, breathe, and be present.
For me, it is a place of stillness, reflection, and peace a reminder that even in life’s noise, calm can always be found.

Svetlana De Smet is a Russian artist. Since 2015, I have been living in Cyprus, where I find inspiration for my work. In my works the texture becomes a language through which I express the whole spectrum of emotions and feelings and invite the viewer to feel the richness and variety of surfaces.
Each painting is not only a visual admiration, but also an inner contemplation.

My work explores the intersection of form, language, and memory. Working with clay, I create ceramic pieces that embody both strength and fragility. Each form is shaped by hand, allowing the material’s natural movement and subtle imperfections to remain preserving authenticity and presence. Across each surface, I inscribe a single word in Arabic calligraphy: Thekreyat Memories. This word is not repeated, but reimagined, guided by the curvature of the form so that script and object become inseparable. Memories shape identity, carrying what we hold onto, what we lose, and what continues to define us over time.
Arabesque elements are interwoven throughout my work, forming the visual backbone of my practice and grounding it in my Arab roots while evoking continuity and timelessness.
My journey began in 2021 painting terracotta bowls, evolving to slab work in 2023 and wheel-throwing in 2024 at The Makers Space in Tala, Cyprus, guided by Lee Anne Raw. Alongside my ceramics, I create bespoke Arabic calligraphy on paper, composing names for families as meaningful keepsakes. Bringing calligraphy onto clay marked a defining evolution uniting form and language into a single enduring expression.

Description: A 50 cm hand-formed work in Staffordshire clay, defined by its softly undulating rim. Through my art, I seek to bring beauty into the world, celebrating themes of transformation, growth, and empowerment.
My current series features portraits of women adorned with flowers and butterflies, symbolizing blooming and metamorphosis. These elements mirror the journey of life delicate yet resilient and resonate with the strength and beauty inherent in femininity. Inspired by the natural cycles of growth in flowers and the chrysalis, this work reflects my own path as an artist: evolving, flourishing, and embracing change. Working with acrylic on canvas, I layer vibrant colors and intricate details to evoke depth and emotion.
Each piece aims to connect viewers with a sense of wonder, harmony, and the profound power of transformation. This series is my homage to feminine grace and strength, and my contribution to a more beautiful, inspired world.

20) Artist Name: Yeseniia Havrylova
My name is Yeseniia Havrylova, and I am 14 years old. I started drawing in early childhood as a way to express myself. At first, I found it difficult to accurately depict form and portraits, and I often asked myself “why?”. Later, I attended an art studio, where I began working with paints. However, after the war in Ukraine began, we moved to Cyprus. There, I met people from my home country who taught me to convey color, light, shadow, and form, and also helped me find my artistic style.
For several years, I was in a process of artistic exploration, and eventually I chose graphic art as my main direction. Black-and-white graphic art allows me to focus on the essence of the image, using contrast, line, and form to convey perception and inner psychological states. In my works, I explore themes of human perception and psychological states.
My works have been presented at international exhibitions, including Seattle, USA, and Venice, Italy, and have received first place in an art competition in Dortmund, Germany. I began creating my own works in my style and, over time, made them available for acquisition, setting a personal goal of saving up for my first car. I continue to develop.

21) Artist Name: Yelizaveta Bezkrovna
My pseudonym is Hide. I’m 17 years old, and I started drawing professionally about three years ago, although I’ve always been drawn to creating. As a child, I was accepted into an art school, however, as a Ukrainian, I experienced a very traditional, Soviet-influenced system of education. The moment I was told that “grass cannot be purple,” I decided to begin my self-taught journey.
In my work, I aim to express my emotions and help others understand their own feelings through my art. At first, it may seem very abstract, but I want people to find their own meaning in my work.
In almost every piece, there is a presence of a figure who is not the main character of the story; it represents me as the creator. However, different people often have their own interpretations and perceptions of my art, which makes me feel proud because, as someone once said, the main purpose of art is to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.

Recently, I have found peace in winter and snow, as if they take all the world’s worries and cover them. After a while, the wind shows you the way, but the question is: are you ready to step into the unknown?

Description: This artwork is one piece of the narrative series “Limitations are Perceptions”. This title comes from my recent trip to Norway, which made me realize that we are capable of more than we often think. All of the pieces, including “Progression”, in this series have a small figure, which can be a representation of me, you, or anyone living. This figure is not the main character, it simply exists, and you might not notice it at first. Sometimes, we need to let go and trust nature, listen to what the wind tries to tell us.

22) Artist Name: Zhenya Cherniavskaia
A key element of Zhenya’s approach is her interaction with clay as a living and equal partner. In her practice, the material is not controlled but leads: its plasticity, resistance, and rhythm shape both the form and the final image.
Firing does not fix it reveals. Cracks, drips, and traces of ash become part of the language.
Each piece carries a subtle geography of Zhenya’s life shaped by Florence, Tel Aviv, Paphos, and Minsk. The works emerge from an intuitive fusion of cultures, climates, and emotional landscapes, giving them a distinct and unrepeatable character born from this layered, cross-cultural dialogue.
