"Beyond The Surface"

 

 

We are delighted to announce an open call for artists to participate in our upcoming exhibition, "Beyond The Surface"

This initiative is designed to celebrate the diverse talents of our artistic community and provide a vibrant platform for artists to express themselves.

Participating artists will showcase their work to a wide audience and will also benefit from dedicated promotional support, social media visibility, and exposure through the Municipality of Paphos’s cultural networks.

I, Elham Razani, a multidisciplinary Iranian artist with over 24 years of experience and a portfolio exhibited internationally, am honored to lead the Ibrahim Art Gallery, located in the cultural heart of Paphos. with passion and care, I personally review and curate every submission to ensure a thoughtfully presented exhibition.

Since 2024, I have curated and organized four successful exhibitions in Ibrahim's Khan Art Gallery, which together attracted more than 2,000 visitors. The visitors enjoyed the variety of artworks presented by artists from different nationalities.

We invite submissions from artists working across a variety of mediums, including oil painting, abstract, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, and mosaic. Artists from all backgrounds and levels, whether seasoned professionals or emerging talents are encouraged to apply and share their unique vision in this collective exploration of creativity.

Entry Fee: Accepted artists will pay a fee of €50 to cover administrative cost to run the exhibition in Addition a 15% commission will apply to art works sold during the exhibition.

Note: There will be no refunds after registration for any reason, as this allows me to dedicate my time to reviewing all applications.

Required:

• Up to 3 high-quality images of your artwork (JPEG or PDF). One or two paintings will be selected.
• Maximum size of each painting: 100 cm width and the height 200 cm 

Deadline: Submissions must be received by 13th April 2026.

Notification: Accepted artists will be notified by email on 16th–17th April.

Artwork Delivery: Selected artists are required to deliver their artwork to Ibrahim Khan Art Gallery or to Elham Razani Art Studio 18th  & 20th of April  between 10:00 am and 17:00 pm. Please plan in advance, as delivery is limited for 2 day only.

Exhibition Dates: The exhibition will run from 24th to 26th April with the opening reception on 24th April at 18:30.

Gallery Hours: 25th–26th April 10:00–13:30 and 15:30–17:30.

Artwork Collection: Exhibitors are requested to collect their artwork on Sunday 26th April at 20:00 or Monday on 27th April from 10:30 to 17:00.

Note: Don't leave your submission until the last day.
