After a lifetime of work in a completely different sector, I gave vent to my creativity and the artistic studies I had done in my city: Milan, at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. But only with the serenity of the island of Cyprus have I rediscovered my aptitudes: dexterity and creativity. My artistic thoughts are directed towards the female figure, which is sometimes unreal, and grotesque but funny, with a sibylline attitude and dressed only with small accessories. I love modeling the Gargoyles of Notre Dame de Paris with their devilish expressions. Today, the sea is my inspiration. Combining my two passions, Painting and Sculpture, I have created three-dimensional paintings.

3. Michal Daniely - Israel
I am a ceramic artist living in Limassol. I have over 15 years of experience working with clay. I was Inspired by my first ceramic teacher at the age of 12. As a growing individual, I found my passion in clay which shaped my identity as an artist. Art is my sanctuary, aiming to evoke heartfelt emotions and provoke introspection. My work strives to connect with viewers, fostering understanding within society. Throughout the years I have been involved with projects of art activism combining art and community. My achievements in the art world are integral to my identity; without art, I feel incomplete. Looking ahead, I aspire to continue growing creatively. Starting with a basic ceramic studio, I later pursued a degree in Fine Arts from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. Learning from the lessons of life, Teaching, and motherhood has profoundly influenced my artistic journey.

7. Jamie Jones - England
I create works that explore the nostalgic essence of childhood, blending bold cartoonish styles with intricate, emotive oil portraiture. Through a variety of mediums, oils, spray paint, collage, and woodcuts, I reflect on how memories, often simplified over time, layer themselves over complex emotions and experiences. These memories, though softened by nostalgia, remain significant in shaping who we are today. I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and encourage reconnection with our inner child. My work questions the notion that maturity requires leaving behind creativity, suggesting instead that it can coexist with the responsibilities of adulthood, enriching our perspective on both the real and the imagined.

8. Marina Kotidze - Russia

paint abstractions. I focus on portraying the absence of objects, lifting paint off the canvas to create a new dimension where a unique state of mind emerges. Freed from the need to cling to familiar forms, we sink deeper into sensations and emotions, while the mind fills in the lines and patches of color with its associations, or surrenders and slips into meditation.
Every painting is a challenge to create a mirror where each viewer can glimpse their inner world. Although I avoid physical objects as subjects, I’m passionate about the materiality of paint itself and always make it an active element in my work.
If a painting doesn’t invite you to run your fingers across it or press your cheek against it to feel its texture, then it’s not ready.
I wish that were the only criterion. But a painting is complete when it holds enough depth to give the viewer a pause a space for an inner conversation.

17. Verena Venus - German
https://www.instagram.com/
Verena Venus is a dynamic artist whose journey has been shaped by resilience and self-discovery. Trained in art as a teenager, Verena encountered little encouragement, with one particularly dismissive teacher nearly extinguishing her passion. Despite this setback, after a childhood spent finding solace in opera singing and art, Verena ultimately reclaimed creativity as a path to healing.
A pivotal turning point came in Cyprus, where Verena rekindled her love for self-expression. This renewal sparked a powerful transformation that now defines her work, especially in a new series of women’s portraits that embody her journey of reinvention and self-acceptance.
Verena currently explores the vast world of color, experimenting with techniques that emphasize, omit, and manipulate hues to create impressions and illusions.
This exploration marks a new, conscious phase in her art a journey more deliberate and bold than in her childhood. Through each vibrant piece,
Verena Venus shares a story of resilience and transformation, inviting others to rediscover and embrace their creative spirits.

Title: The Nymph of the Anemone Field
Medium: Acrylic, silver leaf on canvas
Size: 80х60 cm
Year Created: 2023
Price: €1730
Country: Belarus
Description: Through a character created based on my appearance, I explore the fluctuations between the personal and the collective, the inner and the outer, the cultured and the wild, the dominant man who is part of nature. In ancient philosophy, Socrates formulated a worldview according to which man is the center of the universe and the goal of all events taking place in the world. I am trying to question the usual interpretation of reality and the illusory world of human domination over nature. We are infinitely a part of the living nature. We flow from one organic form to another, eternally striving for unity, and perfection but never achieving it.

of life. The Paphos region is famous for its sunsets and banana plantations. Many people eat bananas every day and this is probably the most common fruit on Earth. But did you know that bananas are berries that grow on grass? Yes, the banana tree is nothing but the largest grass in the world, and the thick trunk is just a stalk. Bananas are not only yellow but also red and even black. In every everyday object and action, there is life itself. It is important not only to achieve the goal but also to enjoy on the way.
20. Jay Dahler - England
https://www.instagram.com/_jayaywhy_
Since a young age I have had an un-scratchable itch to create, to make something that I can touch and see that takes the place where nothing was. From the ages of about 12-15 I stopped making for reasons I cannot justify. Then as a stressed, sad and angry pubescent boy I started to paint. The itch of creativity came back, stronger than ever. Before the painting was even finished, I had started another and the cycle I had gotten on is still running to this day.
The urge to create became an obsession, a daily necessity. After long days and nights practicing my rediscovered passion, I knew what I wanted to do every day for the rest of my life. This led me to having my first ever solo exhibition at the Makers Space titled ‘Beginning’ in the summer of 2022. The show was a huge success and taught me a lot. Shortly after that I left Cyprus to further my painting skills at university, now I am in my final year of my Fine art course at Manchester. My work these days revolves around humour and the absurdity of human experience. The works I have submitted range in topic but the eagerness to be funny and absurd traces through.
