Group Art Exhibition "Inspiration" 20th -25th September 2024
We are excited to announce a call for artists for our upcoming exhibition, "Inspiration."
This initiative aims to showcase the diverse talents within our artistic community and provide a platform for artists to express themselves.
I, Elham Razani, a Multi disciplinary Persian Artist with more than 24 years of artistic experience and a rich portfolio showcased in exhibitions across several countries, am proud to lead the Ibrahim Art Gallery nestled in the vibrant heart of Paphos. Personally, I am dedicated to meticulously reviewing and curating every submission with unwavering passion.
We welcome submissions from artists working in various mediums, including oil painting, abstract, mixed media, etc. Artists of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply whether you're a seasoned professional or an emerging talent, we encourage you to share your unique perspective and contribute to this collective exploration of creativity.

Submission:
Deadline for Submissions - 1st September 2024.
Don't leave it until the deadline, as many artists have already requested to participate; it may get full before you have a chance to register.
If you are one of the successful candidates, you will be notified by email no later than 5th September 2024. Selected artists will receive further details regarding participation and exhibition logistics.
- Up to 3 high-quality images of your artwork (JPEG or PDF) - I will choose one painting.
- Size of the painting: Max 100 cm width
- A brief artist statement (250 words max) outlining how you started your art career and what you are creating.
Entry Fee: For accepted artists, the entry fee is 45 Euros, and there is a 15% commission on any art sold during the exhibition. This commission helps cover operational costs while ensuring artists receive fair compensation for their work.
Note: As you are aware, galleries charge a high commission. I am always disappointed because most of the work is done by the artist, yet galleries charge a 40% to 50% commission on sales. As artists, we have to increase our prices to earn something from the sale, making the price of the painting too high for purchase.
Given the high commissions charged by galleries, I will charge a lower commission to ensure you can sell your art at a fair price."
Artwork Delivery: Selected artists are required to deliver their artwork to Ibrahim Khan Art Gallery or to Elham Razani Art Studio on 13th - 14th September from 10:00 am to 19:00.
Exhibition Dates: The exhibition will run from 21st to 25th September 2024, with the opening reception on 20th September at 19:00.
Gallery hours: From 10:00 - 13:00, and 18:00 - 20:00 daily
Artwork Collection: Exhibitors are requested to collect their artwork on 25th September at 21:00 and on 26th September from 10:30 to 17:00.
